I was in 1-5D left during our Mocks to return to Liverpool, very fond memories, that School gave me a good start, I have to say the teachers were great.didn't think that back then. Great1975 school Photo.

Very sad to say that Amanda Hemingsley passed away in August this year. We were best friends at our Junior School before we both joined CGS in 1967 and were friends for the rest of our lives. RIP Amanda.xx

After the reunion on Sunday, I decided to join the FPA Facebook. I have always been reticent about opening an account on Facebook because of the abuse that is made on it.
However it is a great way of communication and a wonderful way of instant family communication at holiday time and party time, therefore I decided to give it a go. After all those who cane through CGS, as with other grammar school were brought up in a system to reflect values.
So it is that I have enjoyed a number of reunions and am thankful to those who set it up and have maintained it to bring back memories.
